What is UN/LOCODE?
United Nations Code for Trade and Transport Locations is a geographic coding scheme developed and maintained by United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
Code Structure
UN/LOCODE consists of 5 letters: first 2 letters represent country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2), followed by 3 letters for location within the country.
