Consolidation Service FAQ

Common questions about consolidation

What is the minimum volume for consolidation service?

Our consolidation service has no strict minimum. However, it's most cost-effective when you have 1+ CBM of total cargo or goods from 2+ suppliers. For smaller shipments, we can still consolidate, but we recommend combining multiple orders over a few weeks to fill at least 2-3 CBM.

How long can you store goods before shipping?

We offer up to 30 days of free storage at our consolidation warehouse. This gives you time to collect goods from multiple suppliers. If you need longer storage, we offer competitive rates for extended warehousing. Ship when you're ready - we have weekly departures to most destinations.

Do you inspect goods during consolidation?

Yes! Basic inspection is included. We check quantity against packing lists, verify packaging condition, and look for visible damage. We send you photos upon arrival. For detailed inspection (quality checks, functionality testing, etc.), we offer professional QC services at additional cost.

Can you remove supplier packaging to reduce volume?

Absolutely! One of the key benefits of consolidation is optimizing packaging. We can remove excessive supplier packaging, re-pack goods efficiently, and palletize to maximize container space. This can reduce your shipping volume by 10-30%, resulting in significant savings.

How do I track my consolidated shipment?

You'll receive updates at each stage: when goods arrive from each supplier, when consolidation is complete, when the container departs, and throughout transit. We provide a single tracking number for the entire consolidated shipment, making it easy to monitor everything in one place.

What if goods from different suppliers have different delivery timelines?

This is common! We store early arrivals at our warehouse at no extra cost for up to 30 days. We collect from suppliers as they're ready and hold everything until all goods have arrived. Then we consolidate and ship. You can also choose to ship partial consolidations if urgent.
